REGULATIONS OF THE 3^RD RUNNING FESTIVAL OF THE ECONOMIC FORUM

7-9 September 2012

I. ORGANIZER
A. The organizer of the 3^rd Running Festival is Foundation Eastern Institute with the seat in Warsaw, 00-382, ul. Solec 85/33; www.forum-ekonomiczne.pl, tel: 022/583-11-00, fax:022/583-11-50, email: festiwalbiegowy@isw.org.pl.
B. The website of the competition is: www.festiwalbiegowy.pl and www.runningfestival.pl.
C. Co-organizers of the event are: the towns of Krynica-Zdroj and Muszyna.

II. PLACE AND DATE
A. The 3^rd Running Festival of the Economic Forum will be organized between the 7^th and the 9^th of September 2012.
B. The start and finish lines of individual running events of the 3^rd Running Festival of the Economic Forum were planned at different places. A detailed specification is presented in point 5 of these regulations.
C. The runs of the Festival will take place in Krynica-Zdroj, Muszyna and Bardejov.
D. A detailed location map of individual runs of the event will be posted on the website www.festiwalbiegowy.pl at the latest 10 days before the event.

III. ORGANIZATIONAL PREMISES
A. The Running Festival of the Economic Forum is a sport event with many accompanying cultural and entrainment events. The events scheduled during 3 days of the Running Festival in Krynica-Zdroj include races in the distance ranging from Mini Marathon (420m) for children to Ultramarathon in the distance of 100 km, and also many other attractions. They include concerts for the participants in the Festival, who will also have a chance to visit a sports fair becoming familiar with latest news related to sport fashion, equipment and relaxation and rehabilitation services.
B. Every event organized within the scope of the Running Festival can take place only in consultation with the organizer. The organizer will inform participants about all events of the Festival by means of its website: www.festiwalbiegowy.pl.

IV. FESTIVAL RUNS
A. Marathon of the Running Festival of the Economic Forum

B. Ultramarathon at a distance of 100km

C. Ultramarathon at a distance of 66 km

D. Mountain Race at a distance of 33 km

E. Krynica- Muszyna Run

F. Mountain races in Anglo-Saxon style on Jaworzyna

G. Promenade Runs for children

H. Women's Race

I. Krynica's Mile - race at a distance of 1609 m

V. PARTICIPATION
A. Participation in the races of the Running Festival of the Economic Forum is open to persons, who at the latest on the 7^th of September 2012 will be 18 years old, except of special cases indicated in the regulations for individual smaller runs.
B. All competitors running in the races must be verified in the Competition Office.
C. During verification, the competitors must present their identity documents with a photo, used to check their date of birth and citizenship, and a confirmation of payment of the entry fee.
D. In order to participate in the race, the runners will have to sign a statement about lack of contraindications to participate in selected running events.
E. In order to run in a specific race, every runner must have a start number attached to his T-shirt. The method of attachment must enable identification of the runner. The numbers cannot be covered or concealed.
F. The registered competitors should collect their start numbers in the competition office together with the race packages for runners.
G. The runners, who register via electronic form, but do not collect their start numbers, cannot compete in the race and cannot be classified.
H. The runners are obliged to observe provisions of the Festival's regulations and regulations of the races, in which they participate.
I. Participants in individual races are obliged to observe their individual regulations.

VI. CLASSFICATIONS
A. Individual classifications in the races are regulated by their individual regulations.

VII. APPLICATIONS
A. Applications can be sent in electronically via the website www.festiwalbiegowy.pl or by post to the address: 00-382 Warszawa, ul. Solec 85/33.
B. The registered competitors, who fill in the registration form correctly and pay the entry fee, receive their start numbers, which are printed opposite to their names on the start list. The start numbers can be collected in the Competition Office before the Festival race.
D. Application of every competitor should be signed personally. Signature on the registration card can be placed in the competition office before beginning of the race, in the time of receipt of start numbers and race packages by runners.

VIII. PRIZES
A. All competitors, who complete the festival races, receive souvenir medals.
B. The winners of the races organized during the Running Festival of the Economic Forum will receive cash and in-kind prizes.
C. The prize pool of the Running Festival of the Economic Forum is 350 thousand zlotys.
D. Income tax is deductible from the winners of cash prizes according to binding regulations.
E. Cash prizes won by competitors will be paid only by bank transfer to the bank account.

IX. FEES
A. Every participant in the 3^rd Running Festival will cover the costs of the entry fee.
