Polish Masters Championships in the run for 10 km in Krynica!
In line with the decision of the Management Board of the Polish Association of Senior Track and Fields Sports, the Polish Championships (above the age of 35) in Masters category this year in the road run at the distance of 10 000 meters will be organized within the scope of the Running Festival in Krynica-Zdroj on 10 September 2011.
The venue of the Polish Championships will be provided by the route from Krynica to Muszyna, which is extremely fast and picturesque in the same time. The route has obviously received PZLA attestation. So if you are an ambitious amateur of running, you want to sense the atmosphere of Polish Championships and compete with the best runners in the country in your age group, Krynica is certainly the place you won?t miss. Last year very good results were recorded on this route. In the men?s group, the winner was Laszlo Toth with the time 27:30, while the second place was taken by Henryk Szost ? our best marathon runner. The winner among women was Katarzyna Kowalska with the time 32:12. In the age group M-40 the best result was achieved by Dariusz Trener 33:42. In the women?s age group K-40, the best result was obtained by Dorota Gruca - 32:27. The championship run will start on Saturday, 10th of September at 12.00. The runners will begin the race from the start line located on the Promenade in Krynica-Zdroj close to Old Spa House. The finish post of the run is situated in the market square in Muszyna.
